Follow these steps to fix your brush roll:
- To remove the brush roll, recline your unit so you can access the bottom of it. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the (4) screws on the bottom plate (A).
- Once the bottom plate has been removed, remove the brush roll by pulling it up and out of the vacuum belt. Clear the brush roll of any debris and tangles.
- Lastly, re-fit the brush roll through the belt and pivot the brush roll into the end caps. Rotate the brush roll by hand to make sure it's placed correctly.
- Once it is placed back in the unit replace the bottom plate and screw it in place.
Follow these steps if your belt is damaged or broken
- Following the previous steps, slide the damaged belt off the motor shaft and replace it with a new one.
- Once you have properly placed the belt on the motor shaft, slip the brush roll through the belt.
- Position the non-belt side end cap of the brush roll into its place in the unit, then carefully stretch the belt until the other side of the brush roll fits properly into place.
- Lastly, reattach the bottom plate and the 4 screws back in the unit.
TIP: We recommend spinning your brush roll and belt by hand to ensure they are placed correctly.
