This article contains information on how to fix suction issues on the Spotless
NOTE: Once the dirty water tank gets filled, the automatic shut-off is engaged and suction is lost.
Follow these steps if the unit has low/ no suction
- Turn your unit off and remove the dirty water tank. You can empty the tank through the quick cap on the top of the tank or by turning the cap on the bottom counterclockwise, there should be no gaps once the tank is properly placed in the unit
- After emptying the dirty water tank, it is recommended to inspect the filter for any debris.
- After you have cleaned the filter and emptied the tank, make sure you close the lid properly. There should be no gaps in your lid for optimal suction.
- Inspect your hose for any kinks or tears. If no issues are found, remove the accessory tool and clear out any clogs that could be in the hose and the accessory.
TIP: You can drop a coin through the hose to check for clogs, then use a non-sharp stick to rid the hose of those clogs.
