This article contains information on how to fix dispensing issues on the Power Scrub XL
NOTE: Your unit's handle needs to be properly installed for the dispensing trigger to work. Install by pushing the handle into the handle post and then pushing the post in the unit. There will be an audible "click" sound
NOTE: The PowerScrub XL has two different models, one with a cleaning solution and clean water tank separate and one with a single tank for both.
My unit does not dispense water or solution.
TIP: Make sure your clean water and cleaning solution tanks are filled to the correct measure.
TIP: Select models also have a "Quick clean" and "Deep clean" mode, toggle between these if you need more dispensing and suction power.
- Once you have verified both your tanks are properly filled, make sure they are sitting correctly in the unit. There should be no gaps once the tanks are place on the unit.
- If your unit continues not dispensing, add hot water to both your clean water and solution tanks. Run your unit with hot water for a couple of minutes to help remove any build-up gunk inside the nozzle distributor bar.
- Lastly, remove the nozzle by pulling the nozzle to unlock it and check for any debris or clogs on the distributor bar.
The Hose extension does not dispense water or solution.
TIP: Follow these steps to ensure your pump is primed.
• Fill the clean water tank (no solution needed)• Remove the hose and recline the unit
• Squeeze the trigger on the handle for up to 1 minute. Use the machine to suck up the water that was dispensed
• Reinstall the hose and solution port
• Place unit on an elevated surface and begin dispensing with the hose below the unit
• Once the hose sprays as expected, the pump is primed, and the user can clean as normal
- If priming the pump did not help, remove the hose attachment from the unit port by e by opening the Hose Connection Port on the nozzle. Insert a small object (like a pen) in the solution port to ensure it is dispensing properly.
- Once you verify the solution port is dispensing, rinse both ends of the hose under warm water to remove any gunk or debris. It is recommended to do the same for the attachment heads.
- Lastly, put your clean hose back into the port, and make sure is firmly plugged and locked in.
- Once you're done cleaning, remember to pull out the hose and properly close the latch on your nozzle for optimal suction.
CAUTION: Do not pull the hose sideways or at an angle, it can cause the solution port to break.
