This article contains information on how to fix leaking issues on the PowerScrub XL.
NOTE: The PowerScrub XL has two different models, one with a cleaning solution and clean water tank separate and one with a single tank for both.
TIP: Do not overfill your solution tank, doing so could cause over foaming in the dirty water tank, leading to a liquid bypass and, hence leaking.
WARNING: If you notice any cracks or tears in your tank, please contact our customer service team.
If your PowerScrub Deluxe is leaking, follow the following steps:
- Make sure your clean water and solution tanks are not overfilled and placed properly on the unit.
- If necessary, empty the dirty water tank and place it properly on the unit, do this with the tank pointing down to ensure proper sealing.
- Also, check there are no gaps on the tank lid to ensure no leakage and proper suction.
TIP: Once done cleaning is recommended to run your unit for a couple of minutes, allowing the water to make its way to the dirty water tank will reduce the leaking once the unit is stored away.
TIP: It's recommended to store the unit on top of something absorbent, some leaking is normal after usage.
The Hose extension is leaking
- Make sure your Hose and solution port are properly attached and locked in the unit. There are two white rubber rings on you solution tube on the hose end, make sure the rings are there and have not gotten stuck inside the solution port of the unit. If they are, remove them and re install them on the hose.
- Check that your attachment tools are properly installed.
