This article contains information on how to fix Brush roll issues on the PowerScrub Deluxe.
TIP: Make sure the unit is reclined; the brush roll won't spin in the upright position. Step on pedal (B) to tilt the unit backward.
TIP: Your Brush roll stall might be on; this happens when your brush roll gets jammed. Turn the unit OFF for a moment then turn it back ON. If the brush roll continues stuck see the steps below.
If your PowerScrub Brush roll is not working, follow the following steps:

To access the brush roll, remove the nozzle from the unit by pulling up on the latch and pulling forward. Then lay you unit on the floor so you can access it the bottom of it.

Grab the Brush roll and firmly pull it out to remove it. Remove any tangled debris and clear the brushes under running water.
- To replace the brush in the unit, align posts (A) on both ends of the brush with slots (B) in the cleaner. Make sure the hexagonal post (C) aligns with the respective port (D). You should hear a click once all parts are connected properly.
- Once done replace the nozzle by lining up the two tabs on the base of the nozzle with those on the unit and rock the nozzle back into place. Remember to lock on the latch on top of the nozzle before utilizing the unit again.
TIP: While you're cleaning your nozzle and brush roll, make sure to clear the filters bellow to prevent any tangling or overheating in the future.
