This article contains information on how to fix dispensing issues on the Power Scrub Deluxe
NOTE: Your unit's handle needs to be properly installed for the dispensing trigger to work. Install by pushing the handle base into the unit, then adjusting the TWO screws on the side firmly.
NOTE: The PowerScrub tank is split in two, one section (E) is for clean water and the other (F) for cleaning solution.
My unit does not dispense water or solution.
TIP: Make sure your clean water and cleaning solution tanks are filled to the correct measure.
TIP: If your unit is not dispensing any solution, check that your Mode known is in the correct setting. If the unit is in "Rinse" mode the machine will dispense water ONLY. Use "Wash" mode to dispense both water and cleaning solution.
- Once you have verified both your tanks are properly filled, make sure they are sitting correctly in the unit. There should be no gap between the tanks and the unit.
- If your unit continues not dispensing, add hot water to both your clean water and solution tanks. Run your unit with hot water for a couple of minutes to help remove any build-up gunk inside the nozzle distributor bar.
- Lastly, remove the nozzle by rotating the nozzle latch to unlock it and check for any debris or clogs on the distributor bar.
The Hose extension does not dispense water or solution.
TIP: Follow these steps to ensure your pump is primed.
• Fill the clean water tank (no solution needed)
• Remove the hose and recline the unit
• Squeeze the trigger on the handle for up to 1 minute. Use the machine to suck up the water that was dispensed
• Reinstall the hose and solution port in the unit
• Place unit on an elevated surface and begin dispensing with the hose below the unit
• Once the hose sprays as expected, the pump is primed, and the user can clean as normal
- If priming the pump did not help, remove the hose attachment from the unit port by switching the hose knob (B) to unlock. Insert a small object (like a pen) in the solution port (C) to ensure it is dispensing properly.
- Once you verify the solution port is dispensing, rinse both ends of
the hose under warm water. It is recommended to do the same for the attachment heads. - Lastly, put your clean hose back into the port, and make sure is firmly plugged and locked in.
CAUTION: Do not pull the hose sideways or at an angle, it can cause the solution port to break.
