This article contains information on how to fix dispensing issues on the PowerScrub Elite
TIP: Make sure your clean water and cleaning solution tanks are filled to the correct measure.
TIP: Your unit has "Rinse or Wash" modes. Please ensure you have selected the appropriate mode for the item you are trying to dispense.
- Rinse: This will only dispense water to remove residual solution from your carpet.
- Wash: This will dispense a mix of both cleaning solution and water.
TIP: Remember to press the handle trigger to dispense water and solution, then release the trigger to dry all the water.
PowerScrub Elite nozzle does not dispense water or solution.
- First, confirm your unit's handle is properly installed and locked in the unit.
- Once you have checked your handle, verify your tank is properly filled and sealed, and make sure it's sitting correctly in the unit.
- If your unit continues not dispensing, add hot water to both your clean water and solution tanks. Run your unit with hot water for a couple of minutes to help remove any build-up gunk inside the nozzle distributor bar.
- Lastly, remove the nozzle and check for any debris or clogs on the distributor bar.
PowerScrub Elite hose extension does not dispense water or solution.
TIP: Follow these steps to ensure your pump is primed.
• Fill the clean water tank (no solution needed)
• Remove the hose and recline the unit
• Squeeze the trigger on the handle for 15 seconds. Use the machine to suck up the water that was dispensed
• Reinstall the hose and solution port
• Place unit on an elevated surface and begin dispensing with the hose below the unit
• Once the hose sprays as expected, the pump is primed, and the user can clean as normal
- If priming the pump did not help, remove the hose attachment from the unit port by twisting it to unlock it. You need to pull out the solution hose and insert a small object (like a pen) in the solution port to ensure it is dispensing properly.
- Once you verify the solution port is dispensing, rinse both ends of the hose under warm water. It is recommended to do the same for the attachment heads.
- Lastly, put your clean hose back into the port, and make sure is firmly plugged and locked in.
CAUTION: Do not pull the hose sideways or at an angle, it can cause the solution port to break.
