This article contains information on how to fix suction issues on the Floormate Deluxe.
Follow the following steps if your unit has low suction:
- Pull the dirty water tank (A) by rocking it out of the unit.
- Lift the tank's lid by pulling on the side notches (B & C).
- Ensure your filter is free of dirt and debris. Rinse under water until clean.
- To place the tank back into the unit, align the bottom of the tank with the unit and then rock it back into place.
NOTE: The automatic shut-off mode is activated when the dirty water tank is full.
Once the previous step has been completed:
- Press the release knob on your nozzle, then pull it forward NOT upwards.
- To remove the Brushes, press the latches on the sides (B) to release.
- Once the Brush is removed, clean any debris or blockage in the nozzle and the suction port in the unit.
- To replace the Brushes, align the brushes with the locking port (D & C) then push it in until it clicks.
- Clean your nozzle, then align the nozzle with the latches underneath the unit. Once aligned rock the nozzle into place, you should hear a click once properly installed.
TIP: Use a non-sharp wire or stick to try and remove any clogs inside the suction port.
