This article contains information on how to fix Brush issues on the Floormate Deluxe
If your Floormate Deluxe's Brushes are not working, follow the following steps:
TIP: Make sure the unit is reclined, the brushes won't spin in the upright position.
- Press the release knob on your nozzle, then pull it forward NOT upwards.
- To remove the Brushes, press the latches on the sides (B) to release.
- Once the Brushes are removed, clean any debris or blockage both in the nozzle and the suction port in the unit.
- To replace the Brushes, align the brushes with the locking port (D & C) then push it in until it clicks.
- Clean your nozzle, then align the nozzle with the latches underneath the unit. Once aligned rock the nozzle into place, you should hear a click once properly installed.
WARNING: If your unit's Brushes continue to stop or not spin, your thermal protector may be active. Allow the unit to cool off for about 30 min, in the meantime ensure your unit is clear of any debris or tangles and your dirty water tank is empty.
