Magnesium Upright - Power Issues
This article contains all the steps necessary to fix power issues with your vacuum
TIP: Make sure your unit is properly plugged into a functional outlet.
NOTE: Your thermal protector may have been activated. A thermal protector has been designed
into your cleaner to protect it from overheating.
1. Turn the cleaner OFF and unplug it.
2. Empty the dirt bag, check the nozzle-unit connector point and inside the nozzle intake
3. After 30 minutes, once the unit is cleaned resume cleaning.

NOTE: Inspect your unit's cord for any damages or kinks. Avoid running it over while vacuuming it, this could cause damage to it.
Follow these steps to fix power issues with your unit.
- Let's make sure your handle is properly connected to the unit. Align the four connector tabs at the bottom handle with the ports on the unit, once properly installed you should hear a "click"
- Remove the protector strip from the RS and RF handle.
- Snap the cord into the cord clip on the back of the handle. Leave excess cords loose to allow movement.
- Next, ensure the battery is installed in the handle compartment (use battery CR2032).
- Align the plastic battery cap with grooves so that they are facing a vertical position. Use a coin to rotate the cap to the locked position.
- If removing the battery is necessary, rotate the cap to the unlock position and pull the cap out. Once the cap is removed use your nail or a stick to lift the battery holder, once the holder is lifted the battery will spring out for easy removal.
