This article contains all the steps necessary to fix brush roll issues with your vacuum
NOTE: If your brush roll is clogged or tangled the automatic shut-off will activate. Remove any debris and tangles then resume cleaning
NOTE: Your thermal protector may have been activated. A thermal protector has been designed
into your cleaner to protect it from overheating.
1. Turn the cleaner OFF and unplug it.
2. Replace the dirt bag, and clean the nozzle, the filter, and the air path.
3. After 30 minutes, once the unit is cleaned resume cleaning.

- At least once a month, check for and remove excess lint, string or hair from the revolving brush roll.
TIP: The brush roll is designed for long life. Should it ever become worn or frayed, it can be replaced by an Oreck authorized service center. Chat with us to find your closest service center.
WARNING: The motor and brush roll are equipped with bearings which contain sufficient lubrication for their lifetime. The addition of lubricant could cause damage. Do not add lubricant to motor or brush roll
