Your unit's display will illuminate to notify you if you need to change the Odor filter. Light will appear  approximately every 6 months based on 12 hours of use per day. To replace the odor filter, remove the unit's cover by pulling out from the unit. Your unit could also notify you to change the HEPA Media filter. Light will appear approximately every 12 months based on 12 hours of use per day. Lastly, every time you change a filter in your unit clean the dust sensor on the side of your unit. Clear out any debris by gently wiping clean with a cotton swab or using a vacuum hose. This will help ensure the air purifier continues to operate at maximum performance **TIP:** If your unit is constantly displaying a red or purple light, your dust sensor might be dirty.
