This article contains information on how to fix Brush roll issues on the PowerScrub XL.
TIP: Make sure the unit is reclined; the brush roll won't spin in the upright position. Step on pedal to tilt the unit backward.
TIP: Your Brush roll stall might be on, this happens when your brush roll gets jammed. Turn the unit OFF for a moment then turn it back ON. If the brush roll continues stuck see the steps below.
If your PowerScrub Brush roll is not working, follow the following steps:

To access the brush roll, remove the nozzle from the unit by pulling up on the latch and pulling forward. Then lay your unit on the floor so you can access the bottom of it.

Once the nozzle has been removed, push the latches out on the side of the foot until they lock open. Then, just pull the brushes out rinse them under water and remove any tangled debris.
- Replace them by aligning the center drive post and note the arrows indicating the front of the machine. Push firmly until the latches lock into place.
- Once done replace the nozzle by lining up the two tabs on the base of the nozzle with those on the unit and rock the nozzle back into place. Remember to lock on the latch on top of the nozzle before utilizing the unit again.
