TIP:  Your Brush roll stall might be on; this happens when your brush roll gets jammed. Turn the unit OFF for a moment then turn it back ON. If the brush roll continues stuck see the steps below.

If your Brush roll is not working, follow the following steps:

  1. To access the brush roll, remove the nozzle from the unit by pulling up on the latch and pulling forward. Then lay your unit on the floor so you can access the bottom of it.

  2. Use a Philips screwdriver to remove 6 screws. Arrows show the location of screws on the underside of the cleaner.

  3. Remove the underside belt cover and the brush roll end cap. Pull both brush rolls out toward the user to remove from the cleaner. The belt will still be attached to the cleaner.

  4. Once done replace the brush roll through the belt and the nozzle by lining up the two tabs on the base of the nozzle with those on the unit and rock the nozzle back into place.

CAUTION: If you smell a burnt smell, there might be an issue with your belt. Turn OFF your unit and follow the next steps.

Follow these steps to remove your belt.

  1. To remove the belt, unscrew the 3 screws in the foot side cover on the underside

  2. Flip the cleaner upright and remove the upper belt cover from the foot. Once the cover is removed slide the belt off the shaft and replace it with a new one.
