Wet/ Dry Corded Hand Vac - Leaking

TIP: When vacuuming liquids, make sure that upon finishing your nozzle remains pointing downwards. Lifting the nozzle or placing the unit upright will cause a motor bypass and leaking.

LEAKING POSITION

CAUTION: Make sure when vacuuming liquids, the unit is not submerged or doused in liquid.

Follow these steps to prevent leaking

  1. If your unit is leaking, your dirt cup might be full. Press the release button on the cup and rock it out of the unit.
  2. Once the cup is removed, use the grip located in the filter to pull the filter housing out.
  3. After the filter and filter housing have been removed, empty the unit.
  4. Finally, to replace the dirt cup. Align the bottom of the cup with the notch on the unit and rock it back until it locks in place.
