This article contains all the steps necessary to fix suction issues with your Vacuum.
NOTE: Make sure the dirt cup is sitting correctly in the unit and there are no gaps to prevent loss of suction.
Unit has Low/ No Suction
- If your unit continues to have lack of suction, turn off the unit and remove the dirt cup from the unit. Press the release button on the unit and rock the cup out from the unit.
- Once removed, open the dirt cup by pulling out the separator and empty the dirt cup.
- While emptying the dirt cup, make sure to check the separator and filter, wipe them clean with a cloth or tapping it on trash bin.
- Once the filter and dirt cup has been cleaned, you should check there are no clogs in your airpath. Remove any that could be causing reduced suction.
- Check the suction holes behind the dirt cup and separate the nozzle to easily check the connection point.
- Lastly, check the brush roll and remove any tangles and debris that could be reducing the suction. For more details on how to check the brush roll visit here.
