This article contains all the steps necessary to fix suction issues with your Vacuum.
TIP: If your vacuum is hard to push or not having enough suction, make sure to slide the heigh adjustment bar to the correct setting for the floor you're cleaning
Follow these steps if you're experiencing low/ no suction
- To ensure proper suction, first start ensuring you unit is properly assembled. Pop the body of the unit into the base nozzle. Then use the provided screw (found on the handle) and screw secure the nozzle to the unit.
- Once the unit is secured, inspect your hose for clogs and line up the bottom of the hose to the port on the nozzle and twist to lock it in place.
- By now, you should turn your unit on and check for suction. If no suction is still a problem check your hose path and ensure there are no clogs. Press the wand release button to access the unit wand and clear any debris (if using any accessory tool, ensure they are clog-free as well)
- Once all clogs have been removed, empty your dirt cup by pushing the release button then pulling it out. Now ditch the dirt by pushing the lower button.
- Once the dirt cup is empty, check your rinseable filter. Twist & open the dirt cup, then pull out the filter. If you're cleaning, tap it over a trash can, otherwise rinse it under water until clean, then allow up to 24 hours to dry.
- With the dirt cup and filter removed, make sure your cyclonic filter is clear. Remove it from the cup by pulling up and out. Use a brush to dust it off then line up the notches on the dirt cup to reassemble it.
- Now, check the exhaust filter located under your dirt cup on the nozzle. Pull the tab on the front of the cover to pivot up and out.
- Lift up filter, rinse dirt from both sides, and let dry for 24 hours before reinstalling. Put dry filter back then line up filter cover on back and snap front tab into place.
